This year, the Horse and Hound Expo proudly moves to a new venue: the historic Springdale Race Course, home of the legendary Carolina Cup. With multiple rings—the Expo now has more space than ever to showcase the best in equestrian and canine exhibitions.
Join us on Saturday for a full day of programming across the grounds, featuring live demonstrations, family-friendly activities, and expert presentations. Explore a lively marketplace with vendors offering tack, dog gear, handmade goods, apparel, and more.
Whether you’re returning or attending for the first time, this year’s Expo offers a fresh take on a beloved tradition—now set against the iconic backdrop of this historic Springdale race course.

Expo visitor guide
Parking is available on-site and off-site, but spaces are limited. We recommend arriving early to secure a spot. Designated handicap parking will be available for all events.
Admission is $25. Tickets can be purchased online in advance or at the gate on the day of the event. Please have your ticket ready for scanning upon entry.
A schedule of exhibitions will be available at the entrance gate or can be found here. Please plan your visit accordingly to ensure you don’t miss any of your favorite activities.
While we love dogs we ask that you keep your personal pets at home for their safety and the safety of our animal exhibitors.
There is no spectator seating provided. You should bring your own folding camping chairs or blankets to sit on.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase on-site.
Casual and comfortable clothing and footwear are recommended. You may be walking on grass and uneven terrain, so please choose footwear accordingly.
Photography is allowed but please be respectful of other visitors and ask permission before taking photos of them or their pets.
A first aid tent is available on site. Please follow all safety guidelines and instructions provided by event staff. Horse and dog-related activities can be dangerous, so please keep a safe distance and follow all safety precautions.

The Weekend Events
Friday
Everyone is invited to kick off the weekend on Friday with Denim & Diamonds at Bloomsbury in the heart of historic downtown Camden. Hosted by The Camden Hunt, this soiree promises to be a premier social event of the season.
Saturday
Festivities continue on Saturday with the Camden Horse & Hound Expo, a showcase of top-notch equestrian and canine exhibitions, regional vendors and great food. The expo is sure to be a day full of fun for the whole family!

The weekend concludes on Sunday with the Camden Charity Polo Cup benefiting Hickory Top Farm’s therapeutic riding program. Enjoy this thrilling exhibition of sportsmanship on the field and partake in the traditional half-time divot stomp.
