Terms & Conditions — Camden Horse & Hound Weekend

Welcome to the Camden Horse & Hound Weekend (“we,” “our,” “us”). By purchasing a ticket, registering, or attending any portion of the Camden Horse & Hound Weekend, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). These Terms apply to all events, including but not limited to the Denim & Diamonds Gala, the Horse & Hound Expo, and the Camden Charity Polo Cup.
1. Tickets, Entry & Admission
- All tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable, except in cases of event cancellation by the organizers.
- A valid ticket or wristband is required for entry to all ticketed events. Lost or damaged tickets will not be replaced.
- Each ticket admits one person and grants access only to the event(s) specified.
- Entry to event venues is subject to capacity limits, security checks, and compliance with posted rules.
- Children under 12 may be admitted free to the Horse & Hound Expo when accompanied by a paying adult.
- Tailgate and hospitality packages include designated parking and seating privileges as described at purchase.
- Unauthorized resale or duplication of tickets is strictly prohibited and may result in denial of entry.
2. Weather, Postponement & Cancellation Policy
- Camden Horse & Hound is a rain or shine event.
- In the event of dangerous weather or circumstances beyond our control (including acts of God, public safety concerns, or government restrictions), the schedule may be delayed, altered, or canceled at the discretion of organizers.
- Refunds will not be issued due to weather, except if the event is officially canceled in full.
- Event details, including start times and lineups, are subject to change without notice.
3. Conduct & Grounds Rules
- The Camden Horse & Hound Weekend is a family-friendly event. Disorderly, intoxicated, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
- Attendees must comply with all local, state, and federal laws, and follow staff instructions at all times.
- Pets must remain on leash at all times, and owners are responsible for their behavior and cleanup.
- No outside alcohol may be brought onto event grounds.
- Open flames, glass containers, drones, weapons, and illegal substances are strictly prohibited.
- We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any attendee who fails to comply with these rules.
4. Parking & Transportation
- Vehicles must park only in designated areas. Tailgate spaces are assigned and may not be moved or expanded without authorization.
- Overnight parking and camping are not permitted unless explicitly stated.
- The Camden Horse & Hound Weekend is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged vehicles or personal property.
5. Safety & Liability
- Attendance and participation are at your own risk.
- By entering the event grounds, you assume all responsibility for injury, illness, property damage, or loss that may occur before, during, or after the event.
- Camden Horse & Hound, its organizers, sponsors, volunteers, and partners are not liable for any personal injury, accident, theft, or damage resulting from participation.
- Equestrian and canine demonstrations involve inherent risks. Attendees must maintain a safe distance from animals, arenas, and performance areas unless otherwise permitted.
- Emergency medical services are available onsite. Attendees should immediately report any safety concerns to staff.
6. Photography, Video & Media
- By attending, you grant Camden Horse & Hound and its affiliates the unrestricted right to use your image, likeness, and voice in photography, video, and other media captured during the event.
- These images may be used in promotional materials, broadcasts, and social media without compensation.
- Professional photography and videography require prior written approval from event management.
- Use of drones or aerial devices is prohibited.
7. Vendors, Exhibitors & Sponsors
- Vendors and exhibitors must adhere to all event guidelines, setup and teardown schedules, and safety protocols.
- Camden Horse & Hound reserves the right to remove any vendor or display deemed inappropriate, unsafe, or noncompliant.
- Sponsors must adhere to agreed-upon brand usage and placement terms.
8. Refunds, Exchanges & Cancellations
- All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges will be issued except in the event of full cancellation.
- Processing fees and service charges are non-refundable.
- In case of cancellation, refund or credit instructions will be provided via the official event website or email.
9. Intellectual Property
- The Camden Horse & Hound name, logo, and associated designs are trademarks owned by the event organizers.
- No attendee or vendor may reproduce, sell, or distribute branded merchandise or materials without prior written consent.
10. Governing Law & Venue
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina.
- Any dispute arising out of attendance or participation shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Kershaw County, South Carolina.
