This October, the Horse & Hound Expo finds a new home—and a grand one at that. For the first time, the beloved celebration of equestrian sport and canine talent will unfold at Camden’s historic Springdale Race Course, the storied venue of the Carolina Cup.
Set across the sweeping lawns and oak-lined grounds of one of South Carolina’s most iconic racecourses, this year’s Expo promises a refined, elevated experience while keeping its signature charm. Guests can expect a full day of high-energy equestrian demonstrations, crowd-favorite dog showcases, and a curated vendor village featuring heritage wares, artisanal dog gear, and local food trucks.
More space means more to see, and this move allows the Expo to expand with additional rings, new experiences, and room for families to roam. Whether you’re drawn by the horses, the hounds, or the sheer joy of countryside tradition, Springdale sets the perfect stage.
The Horse & Hound Expo returns Saturday, October 11, as part of the three-day Camden Horse & Hound Weekend. It’s a new chapter in a familiar story—and one worth experiencing firsthand.
